The 2nd Beijing International Sports Advertising Film Festival, which will take place in 2016 in Beijing, will launch the awards for Best Olympic Film and Best Direction, honoring the outstanding work related to Olympic events or stories, rewarding the most talented directors and their teams.

Last year, the inaugural edition of this international sports ad celebration was warmly supported by the creative community and advertisers around the world. Entries from more than 30 countries were submitted and the unique concept of the sports brand film and non-sports brand film sections met a great success, attracting numerous global agencies and international representative brands.

The Taotie Sports Ad Awards aim to celebrate and award the outstanding sports-related ad films, to set up a new platform for exchange of ideas for creative competitors, and to share the passion of sport and the excellence in creative advertising with all people who like sports and creativity.

The new category of award for Best Olympic Film is open to all Olympic-themed films, from the official Olympics, Paralympics, Youth Olympic Games or Special Olympics commercials, to all films that help to promote Olympic esprit and its values, and all other films related to Olympic events or stories. The film could be submitted to sports brand section or non-sports brand section according to the nature of each product or service brand.

Under the two major competition sections, there will be 16 categories in total (8 categories for each) at the Taotie Awards 2016: Best International Creativity Film, Best Event Film, Best Olympic Film, Best Internet Film, Best Public Interest Film, Best Humor Film, Best Animation Film and Best Direction.
